About us

Many of you already know our history but to those that are unfamiliar with our products and Nigel and I (Carolin), here is a brief summary. We have been totally involved with this product from the selection of our own rootstocks, to the propagation of the grafted grape vines in our nursery. These vines have then made up the vineyards of one New Zealand’s leading wineries Kumeu River Wines. As a winemaker with this company Nigel selects the very best vineyards and tanks to source our grape skins and seeds. Kumeu River Wines is certified under the Sustainable Winegrowing NZ programme. Over the years Nigel has been involved with various wine related studies carried out by Auckland University Wine Science Department. Our products VineLife, VineEquine and VineCanine have been produced since 2001.
